Boll

Cinematic
I wanted to make a short cinematic showing two of my rigs in a cute way. The storyboard I made in the beginning helped me with the planning, however, many things changed during the process.
Growing up with lots of dogs I loved the idea of a big scary creature, that just wants you to throw the ball. Using lots of dog references was super helpful, also a good excuse to watch dog videos all day.

Hero
Model & Rig
Hero is a model I made in our character design course. I had a bunch of fun designing, modeling and rigging her. So I wanted to include her in my portfolio in some way.
I made the rig so you can move the hovering pieces of her mechanical arm independently but they still follow the arms movement.

Ann-Kristine
Rig
I made this rig because I wanted to challenge myself with a quadraped creature. I had only rigged humanoids, props and spiders before this.
Her legs were a bit of a struggle at first but with some guidance and work they came together nicely.

Shadow

Rig
This creature is an enemy from our latest game project. The game is a horror game and the enemies were gonna be humanoid, shadow creatures.
I immediately started envisioning how I wanted the rig to be made. With lots of stretching and deformability to convey the floatiness and non-tangible features of this creature.

It was also supposed to be able to stretch out to a bigger version of the enemy, using the same model.
Animation
I had the job of animating the big enemy which had a standing and a bent version.

Because they have little textures there was a lot of work making them look good just with siluettes, a new fun challenge.

My Lady

Rig
A fun rigging project where I got to work with a lot of details. Adding a lot of extra controls and planning on how to bring this faun lady to life.
Since I already had a little experience on hindlegs from Ann-Kristine, it was a bit easier going into this. I knew what had worked and what hadn't.

Animation
I wanted to create some simple gameplay animations for her. It was also very important for me to convey her vibe and personality in the animations.

Trailer
Our 3rd game project was going to be a platform game and we decided to make it a "2D" pixel game. The story is a cute/morbid mix with a child turning tiny after breaking a magical flys sand castle.

I got to rig and animate the player.

This project was extremely fun. Getting to exaggerated so much and drawing on small details in the pixel versions.
I also got to create the intro and outro of this game, super fun working with 2D assets in this way.

Trailer
This is a game based on Diablo 3, where a shaman is trying to hunt down the source of what's corrupting the land and her village.

My job was to rig the boss, some extra stuff for the enemies, enemy spiders and environment.

I also got to animate the player.

About mee
Hi! Whether it was drawing or putting together a
music act with my friends, I've been doing
some kind of art since I can remember.Animation was something I was drawn to from my love of animated movies. However I never thought that would be something I could possibly do myself until like 5 years ago. Realizing I could make characters come to life was sick.I didn't play many games growing up, as the youngest child I was instead eagerly waiting until my older siblings came home so I could watch them play Zelda or Final Fantasy.
It was rather as an adult, playing with friends, laughing until the sun came up, my love for games grew.In my free time I draw, sew clothes, play games,
drink tea & pet animals. Other people describe me as extremely funny, super handsome and very humble.

Note; I am part of The Game Assembly’s internship program. As per the agreement between the Games Industry
and The Game Assembly, neither student nor company may be in contact with one another regarding
internships before April 23rd. Any internship offers can be made on May 5th, at the earliest.
